Karaoke Chat / Re: What is the toughest song you've tried to sing lately?
« Last post by HBEntertainment on January 29, 2017, 07:11:11 PM »
Hi all, new here.  The toughest song I've tried lately was Chris Stapleton's "Tennesee Whiskey".  That guy has some serious voice control and it's really tough to match.

I have never used this kind of set up so not really qualified to advise, but the first thing that springs to mind is that you may need to use a dedicated amp with the microphone and theatre hooked up to it. Have you tried contacting Soken or the Home Theatre company as they may have a solution?

Karaoke Equipment / Setup Advice Please using an Android Box
« Last post by fantasia3 on November 09, 2015, 02:41:56 PM »
hi,
Thanks in advance...did look through previous topics, but couldn't find anything similar.
I have a Panasonic TV and panasonic home theater and an Android tv box (setup with Kodi) connected to the internet.
The Android TV box connects to the TV (hdmi2), and the TV to the home theater (hdmi1/ARC). So whatever is shown on the TV, the sound is broadcasted via the home theater. I wanted to have a sing-a-long with Youtube, and bought a Soken wireless microphone  kit and connected to the home theater. When i set it to USB or Disc on the theater control, the mic works, but then no sound from youtube on TV. Is there a simple solution that would allow me to continue watching TV and also occasionally have a singalong? many thanks guys

Karaoke Equipment / Check out a live demo of new Karaoke home system Thursday
« Last post by Boxtiq on October 07, 2015, 09:24:48 PM »
There's a new Soundbar coming out that is designed for setting up Karaoke easily. You can hook it up with any music apps online and essentially enjoy an unlimited music library. The system is Bluetooth enabled and comes with wireless microphone and subwoofer so no cables mess. Currently on Indiegogo for pre-order and would love some feedback from folks in this forum. There's a live video demo session of the unit this Thursday Oct 8 at 1PM PST on Boxtiq.tv. To join the demo download the Boxtiq iOS app and tune in around 1PM PST Thursday!
